\nOn Friday we had a meeting in the morning with Sayuri A., our wedding
\norganizer from Issei Corporation. They did a really great job. The
\nplanning and wedding itself went very smoothly, and we didn’t have to
\nfret over many of the details. I highly recommend them if you are
\nlooking for a wedding in Hawaii, particularly if you have English and
\nJapanese speaking people in the party. The meeting took about an hour
\nand a half, we wrapped up some final details and went over
\nscheduling. After that we had a bit of time, then Risa’s makeup
\nperson (Mariko) came over and they did the test-run makeup and hair
\nsession.\n<\/p>\n

\nAfter that we had a pretty good chunk of time. Risa’s family had
\narrived earlier in the morning and made their way to the Kahala
\nhotel. They had forgotten to buy diapers, so they asked if we could
\ndo that. We had a bit of an experience finding diapers, but finally
\ndid find them, and headed over to the Kahala hotel. It was my first
\ntime to see the place, and it is really nice. They have an actual
\nlagoon type thing with dolphins in it. Also large turtles. And a
\nvariety of fish. It has a very nice property, private beach, the
\nworks.\n<\/p>\n

\nAfter spending some time with Risa’s family, we all headed downtown to
\nChinatown where we met everyone for drinks and dinner at Bar 35.
\nActually, most people were about an hour late, but we did eventually
\nget everyone together and had some of the great pizza there. It would
\nhave been if it wasn’t so loud though – I had a sore throat the next
\nday from all the shouting.\n<\/p>\n

\nAfter drinks the girls and guys split up for more traditional
\nactivities. I made it home sometime past 2am, but had had way too
\nmuch drink.\n<\/p>\n
