    Tuesday, at the Bowery Ballroom. I caught Bishop Allen down at the Bowery Ballroom with Erin McKeown. Bishop Allen was really good, and I liked Erin McKeown as well. But everyone should catch Bishop Allen. They rock. I even got my T-shirt signed by Bonnie and Christian. Yay!

  • Beach Road Trip

    8/27/2003. From Friday, 8/22/2003 until Sunday, 8/24/2003 I went on a road trip with some friends to New England. We hit Mystic, Newport, Boston, and Glouster. It was loads of fun. I didn’t even get sunburned.

    I went down to the Tank on 42nd street, and saw Bishop Allen in concert. Bishop Allen is really great – Ron sent me a link from their NPR interview, and I’ve been listening to the album ever since it arrived…

    1/14/2003. There used to be a group called UsagiPop, a long time ago. I really liked their stuff. Now, there is a group called Young Alive in Love that is getting started, with the same front-man (I think.) Anyway, I’m hopeful.

  • Jana’s graduation ceramics show

    My younger sister graduates from SMU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in pottery. She had her first solo show, and then was in the graduation ceremony.

  • Thesis proposal defense

    12/06/2002. No pictures. I defended my thesis proposal: “Identifying Similarity in Multilingual Text: Analysis for Summarization.” I can finally get back to living life a little. 🙂

  • 2002 Halloween Party

    Went to see the Girlyman band show at the Living Room. They’re a good group. You should check them out.

  • Chinatown

    Went down to Chinatown with Y.I. and her family for a nice dim sum brunch, and ice cream afterwards. Otherwise, just busy. working. busy.
